LIPIDI

Lipidi is a student association of food science students. Usually Lipidi member’s main subject is food technology, food chemistry, food microbiology, food economics or marketing. We organize different activities to our members, for example parties, culture, sports, seminars and excursions in Finland and abroad. Lipidi supports students’ position and works as a linkage between students, university and working life. Lipidi also tries to increase people’s knowledge of the field of food sciences.

Happenings in the autumn 2009:

3.9. “Association day”. Student associations introduce themselves, at night the Freshman (=fuksi) party at C-grundi
7.9. Freshman evening in Uusi ylioppilastalo in the center
9.9. Original Freshman orienteering/party (=fuksiaiset) by MMYL in the center
21.-28.9. Nordic games in Norway (MMYL)
24.-29.9. Excursion to Berlin

14.10. Public annual general meeting of Lipidi and Theme party of MMYL
sometime november: Crab banquet
sometime november: Election meeting (Members vote in a new Lipidi student board)
